Introducing the tradeSteward App
tradeSteward can now be installed as an app. It gets its own icon on your home screen or desktop, opens in its own window with no browser address bar in the way, and launches straight to whichever dashboard you have set as your homepage.
There is nothing to download from an app store. It is the same tradeSteward you already use, just installed.
Installing on desktop and Android
Open the Account menu in the navigation bar and choose Install App. That item appears only when your browser is able to install it, and it disappears once tradeSteward is installed, so if you do not see it you are either already set up or on a browser that handles installs differently. Chrome and Edge on Windows, Mac, and Android all support it.
Installing on iPhone and iPad
Safari does not offer an in-page install button. Tap the Share button, then choose Add to Home Screen. You get the same full-screen tradeSteward with its own icon.
Shortcuts into the app
Once installed, press and hold the icon on a phone (or right-click it on desktop) for shortcuts that jump straight to your Trading Dashboard, Backtick, or Bots.
On your phone, and offline
The same Install App item sits in the slide-out menu on mobile. Because tradeSteward acts on live market data, the app deliberately never stores quotes, positions, orders, or balances on your device: showing you a stale quote would be worse than showing you nothing. Open it without a connection and you get a clear offline screen instead, then pick right back up as soon as you are online again.
Open your Account menu and look for Install App, or use Add to Home Screen on iOS.
