Huge Expansion to Event Day Filtering

The Event Day Filter used to do one thing: skip the market event days you picked. It now does the opposite too. Choose a Filter Behavior, then select the days it applies to. Do Not Trade Selected Days skips only the days you select. Only Trade Selected Days trades only on them.

Either way, the days you select are the exception, and the panel colors them to match: red with an x for days the bot sits out, green with a check for days it trades. Switching behavior flips the pills, the key above them, and the behavior button itself together, so you can see what a setting does before you save it.

Eight new event days

Alongside FOMC, CPI, OPEX and the month and quarter ends, you can now target the day before, the day of, and the day after the Monthly Jobs Report and the GDP Release, plus the first trading day of the month and early close days. That brings the filter to 19 event days.

Only Trade Selected Days turns your selections into an allow list: this bot opens only on OPEX day, jobs report day, GDP day and the first trading day of the month.

See the effect before you save

Under the grid, Result spells the rule out as a sentence, and Last 30 days lists the real dates your selections would have caught and the event that matched each one. Both update as you click, so a setting that reads right but behaves differently than you expected shows itself immediately.

Bots you already had set up keep the exact behavior they had. Nothing needs to be re-saved.

The rest of the calendar caught up too

The Event Days page under Bots lists the new event types and filters by them, so you can look up when the next jobs report or early close lands. In Backtick, the event day breakdown now splits a backtest across all 19 categories, which lets you check how a strategy actually did on those days before you build a filter around them.
