Choose Your Plan

Last updated July 3, 2026

tradeSteward plans come in two lines: Tracker plans for performance tracking, and Trader plans for automated trading. The right one comes down to one question: how many bots do you want enabled at once?

You can browse and select plans any time from the Manage Bots Plan card in Account Settings, and current pricing is on the Pricing page.

How to decide in two minutes

  • Not ready to autotrade? Start with a Tracker plan. You get tradeSteward's trade capture and reporting on your existing manual trading, and you can move to a Trader plan whenever you want your first bot.
  • Want to try autotrading? Trade Starter runs one bot in one account, which is exactly what setting up your first bot needs. Eligible new subscribers also get their first week free.
  • Already know your strategy? Count the bots you expect to run at the same time and pick the matching Trader tier. You can change tiers at any point, so there is no penalty for starting small.

Tracker plans: performance tracking

Tracker plans are for traders who want tradeSteward's tracking and reporting without autotrading. All three include automatic trade capture, an unlimited trade log, and unlimited historical storage; the tiers differ in how many accounts they track and the journaling features they add:

Trader plans: automated trading

Trader plans unlock bots. The number in the plan name is the number of bots you can have enabled at once, and higher tiers also raise how many linked brokerage accounts you can autotrade across:

Trade Starter11
Trader 441
Trader 883
Trader 1515Unlimited
Trader 3030Unlimited
Trader 5050Unlimited
Trader 100100Unlimited

Two details make these limits friendlier than they sound:

  • The limit is on enabled bots, not saved bots. You can build and keep as many bot configurations as you like on any Trader plan; the tier only caps how many are switched on at the same time. Many traders keep a library of configurations and rotate which are enabled.
  • You find out before anything breaks. If you try to enable a bot past your limit, the View Bots page tells you with a Maximum Bots Enabled notice rather than silently failing, and upgrading raises the limit immediately.

Monthly or annual billing

Every paid plan offers a monthly or an annual term, and annual billing gives you two months free compared to paying month to month. You pick the term with the Monthly or Annual toggle when selecting a plan, and you can switch terms later from the billing portal described in Manage or Cancel Your Subscription.

A practical rhythm: stay monthly while you are still experimenting with fleet size, then switch to annual once your bot count stabilizes. The two free months reward exactly the point where you stop changing tiers.

The free trial

Eligible new subscribers get their first week free on qualifying plans (Trade Starter up through Trader 15). There is no separate signup: when you qualify, the trial is applied automatically at checkout.

The trial is for new subscribers only, and changing your plan ends your free trial.

Backtick has its own plan

Backtesting with Backtick is a separate subscription, managed from the Manage Backtick Plan card in Account Settings. You can run a Bots plan, a Backtick plan, or both. A common path: backtest an idea on a Backtick plan first, then add a Trader plan and convert the winner into a live bot.
