Track Strategy Performance

Last updated July 17, 2026

The Strategy Performance report shows how each of your strategies is actually doing, so you can double down on what works and retire what does not.

Open the report

Get there two ways:

  • From the Tracking menu, open the Strategies group and choose Strategy Performance.
  • From the Strategies page, click the chart icon on any strategy row to jump straight to that strategy's performance log.

Build your selection

The selection card at the top controls everything below it:

  • Select Strategy: pick one strategy, several, or All Enabled. Enabled and disabled strategies are listed in separate groups, so you can still report on something you retired.
  • Select Symbol: once strategies are chosen, this fills with the symbols those strategies have actually traded. Narrow to one underlying or choose All.
  • Select Opening Dates: a date range picker that limits the report to trades opened in that window.
  • By Account: restrict the report to specific linked accounts.

Click Show Me The Stats and the report builds out below.

The selection card drives the whole report: pick strategies, narrow by symbol, dates, and account, then build.

What the report shows

  • Performance chart: profit and loss over time for the selection, with toggles for the daily bars, each strategy's cumulative line, the combined total, and buying power usage, so you can declutter the chart to the view you care about.
  • Strategy Drawdown Analysis: how deep and how long the losing stretches ran, which tells you more about whether you can live with a strategy than the headline return does. With several strategies selected you get each strategy's own drawdown line plus a Combined Drawdown for the group, and toggles to show either view alone.
  • Strategy Performance Statistics: summary numbers for the selection.
  • Strategy Trades: the individual trades behind the curves, so any surprise in the chart can be traced to the fills that caused it.
The Combined Drawdown view is the honest answer to "how bad could this group of strategies get at the same time". Two strategies that each drew down 5 percent at different times feel very different from two that hit their worst week together.

Keep the numbers honest

Strategy reporting is only as good as your assignments. Two habits keep it accurate:

  • Give every bot the right Strategy Assignment so its trades file automatically.
  • Watch for the red badge on the Tracking menu, also shown next to Account Trade Log, and clear it promptly. See Assign Trades Without a Strategy.
Comparing strategies side by side is often more revealing than studying one alone. Select several at once and look at drawdowns, not just totals.

Strategy Performance answers "which approach is working". For "which bot is working", use Bot Performance Reports, and for the account-wide picture over time, see Balance and Profits Over Time. For a strategy-scoped daily rundown of your premium-selling trades, see Trade Recap, also under the Strategies group in the Tracking menu.
