Sync Bots Across Accounts
Account Bot Sync recreates the enabled bots from one account in your other accounts, with a full preview before anything changes.
Open Account Bot Sync from the Bots menu, or go to /trading/bots/accountbotsync. If you run the same setup in multiple accounts, this page saves you from rebuilding bots by hand: every enabled bot in the source account is recreated in each destination account you choose.
Choose what to sync
The What to sync panel takes three inputs:
- Source Account: the account whose enabled bots you want to sync to your other accounts.
- Strategies: leave Sync All Bots selected to sync every enabled bot, or pick specific strategies to sync only their bots.
- Destination Accounts: one or more accounts the new bots will be created in.
Multi-Entry bots are included in a sync: an enabled Multi-Entry bot's entries always travel with it as one unit, and an individual entry can never be synced on its own.
Refine how bots are created
Three option cards control the details:
- Existing bots. Reuse Existing Bots is on by default: the sync searches each destination for bots with the same settings and enables those instead of creating duplicates. Disable Existing Bots decides what happens to bots already in the destinations, with three choices: don't disable any bots, disable all bots in destination accounts (the default), or disable bots in the selected strategies only. Sync Existing Bot Names optionally renames reused bots to match your naming options. Reuse matching does not apply to a Multi-Entry bot: the sync always creates a new Multi-Entry bot in the destination, unless a Multi-Entry bot with the same resulting name already exists there, in which case the whole Multi-Entry bot is skipped.
- Sizing. Quantity Multiplier scales quantity-based bot sizing for the destination accounts (1 means no change), and Quantity Rounding picks Round Down, Round Nearest, or Round Up when the multiplied quantity is not whole. For a Multi-Entry bot, the multiplier scales the bot's base quantity the same way.
- Naming. Add an optional Bot Name Prefix or Bot Name Suffix to synced bot names, or open Advanced: find & replace to rewrite part of each name.
Preview, then run
Click Preview Sync. The Sync Preview lists the actions that will be performed and shows two tables: Bots to be synced (source bot, strategy, whether an existing bot will be reused or a new one created, the new name, destination account, sync type, and any quantity adjustment) and, if your disable option affects anything, Bots to be disabled. Nothing changes until you confirm with Let's Do It!
A Multi-Entry bot in the source account gets its own row, with a Multi-entry badge next to its name. Its Sync Type shows New Multi-Entry Bot when it will be recreated in full, or Multi-Entry Exists (Skipped) when a same-named Multi-Entry bot is already in the destination and the row will be left alone.
If the sync would push you past your plan's bot limit, a Subscription Limit Exceeded notice explains the shortfall so you can adjust your selection, disable more existing bots, or upgrade. For a Multi-Entry bot, only its enabled entries count against that limit; the Multi-Entry bot itself never uses a slot. Any bots that fail to sync are listed under Sync Errors with the reason.
After the sync
The Synced Bots Created/Updated table lists every bot the sync touched, with its enabled state, account, and entry start time. From there you can select bots and use Change Strategy for Selected to reassign them or Toggle Selected Bots to flip them on or off.
A synced Multi-Entry bot appears as one row here too, with a Multi-Entry: N entries badge next to its status. Toggling or deleting that row acts on the whole Multi-Entry bot, not a single entry.
Once you are happy with the synced bots, Bot Portfolios is a convenient way to enable or disable the whole set across accounts in one action.
