Connect tastytrade

tastytrade connects to tradeSteward in a couple of clicks and stays connected without any recurring reauthorization chores.

  1. Open Manage Linked Brokers from the account menu (the user icon in the top bar).
  2. Click Add/Update Brokerage Link and choose the tastytrade logo.
  3. Log in with your tastytrade credentials in the popup and approve the connection. If no popup appears, allow popups for tradeSteward in your browser.

All you need is your regular tastytrade login; there is no separate API signup. When the popup closes, tradeSteward refreshes your links and lists every account it found in the Manage Linked Accounts table. After linking

Back on Manage Linked Brokers, turn on the Enabled switch for each tastytrade account you want to use, and check that Link Status shows Linked and Acct Status shows OK. If the status column flags missing privileges, sign any required exchange agreements at tastytrade, confirm you have realtime quotes, then click Refresh Brokerage Accounts.

  tradeSteward links one tastytrade username at a time, and switching usernames marks the old login's accounts closed, which disables any bots pointed at them. Authorize with the login that owns your trading accounts the first time and you never have to think about it again.
