Manage or Cancel Your Subscription

Last updated July 3, 2026

Plan changes, payment updates, and cancellations all start from the Manage Bots Plan and Manage Backtick Plan cards in Account Settings.

See your current plan

Open Account Settings and find the Manage Bots Plan card. It shows your Current Bots Plan, your Next Bots Renewal Date, and the plan's details. The Manage Backtick Plan card shows the same for your Backtick subscription.

Everything subscription-related starts here: Change Bots Plan for tiers, Manage Bots Plan for the billing portal.

Change your plan

Select Change Bots Plan to open the plan picker, where you can move up or down a tier or switch between monthly and annual billing. If you are not subscribed yet, the same card offers Subscribe to Bots Now.

Upgrading is the usual fix when you hit your enabled-bot limit; see Choose Your Plan for what each tier includes.

If you are inside a free trial, changing your plan ends the trial.

Update payment details or cancel

Select Manage Bots Plan (or Manage Backtick Plan) to open the secure Stripe billing portal. From there you can update your payment method, review invoices, switch plans, or cancel your subscription. Your Next Bots Renewal Date in Account Settings shows when the current term runs through.

If a renewal payment fails, tradeSteward notifies you (a Payment Failed notice in your notifications) so you can update your card in the billing portal before it affects your subscription.

Plan limits and your bots

Your bot configurations, trade history, and reports stay on your account. Your plan controls how many bots can be enabled at once, so after a downgrade you may need to disable bots to fit the new limit before enabling others. Upgrading raises the limit immediately.

Because saved bots are never deleted by a plan change, downgrading is a safe way to trim costs in a slow season: your whole bot library stays intact, and re-enabling the fleet later is just an upgrade plus a few toggles.

Group-managed subscriptions

If your subscription is provided through a trading group, the Manage Bots Plan card points you to the group's own subscription portal and support contact instead of the plan buttons. Reach out to your group administrator for plan changes.

Questions about a charge or a plan change? Contact Support and the team will get you sorted.
