Connect Tradier

Tradier links to tradeSteward through a quick authorization on Tradier's own site and stays connected without weekly maintenance.

  1. Open Manage Linked Brokers from the account menu (the user icon in the top bar).
  2. Click Add/Update Brokerage Link and choose the Tradier logo.
  3. Log in with your Tradier credentials in the popup and approve the connection. If no popup appears, allow popups for tradeSteward in your browser.

All you need is your regular Tradier brokerage login; no separate API enrollment is needed on your side. tradeSteward then refreshes your links and shows every Tradier account it found in the Manage Linked Accounts table. After linking

On Manage Linked Brokers, enable the accounts you want bots to trade and confirm Link Status shows Linked and Acct Status shows OK. If an account is flagged for missing privileges, make sure your Tradier account has options trading approval and realtime quotes, resolve anything outstanding with Tradier customer service, and then click Refresh Brokerage Accounts to update the connection information.

  tradeSteward links one Tradier username at a time, and switching logins marks the previous username's accounts closed, which disables any bots configured for them. Link with the username that owns your trading accounts from the start.
