Bot Performance Reports
Bot Performance breaks your results down by bot, so you can see exactly which configurations are earning their keep and which need work.
Open Bot Performance
From the Tracking menu, choose Bot Performance under Bots, or go to /trading/bots/performance.
Select the bots to analyze
The selection panel gives you several ways to build the report:
- Select Bots: pick one or more bots by name.
- Search Enabled Bots by Entry Time Window: find bots that enter during a specific window, useful when you run many time-slot bots.
- Select Strategy: include every bot assigned to a strategy.
- Filter by Tags: limit the report to bots carrying certain tags.
- Account selection: restrict results to specific linked accounts.
Trade Selection Options fine-tune which trades count before the report runs:
- Skip One-Off Trades, Skip Partial Finish Trades, and Skip Scheduled Bot Trades include or exclude manually launched trades, trades that only partially completed, and the bot's normal scheduled entries, so you can isolate exactly the activity you want to judge. Trades opened with Size Up always count as regular trades here; Skip One-Off Trades does not remove them.
- Normalize to Quantity 1 Per Trade re-computes results as if every trade were one contract. This is the fairest way to compare bots that trade different sizes, because a bigger allocation stops looking like better performance.
- Show Daily Averages Instead of Profits appears once you normalize, swapping totals for per-day averages.
Read the report
The report opens with a combined profit chart for everything you selected, then drills down:
- Selected Bots Combined: cumulative performance of the whole selection, so a group of bots can be judged as a portfolio.
- Bot Drawdown Analysis: how deep and how long the selection's losing stretches ran.
- Bot Performance Statistics: the per-bot numbers, including trade counts, win rates, and profit totals, for side-by-side comparison.
From the report you can also drill into any single trade with the View Trade Timeline icon, which replays that trade's prices and order events from entry to exit. See Monitor Bot Activity and Open Positions for how to read the timeline.
Bots or strategies?
Bot Performance answers "how is this bot doing?" If you want results grouped by trading approach instead, assign your bots to strategies and use Strategy Performance. The two reports complement each other: strategies for the big picture, bots for the specific configuration.
